*Mystery books of all types are welcome: Mystery, cozy, historical mystery, noir, detective, amateur detective, private detective, police procedural, etc.
*Some fantasy or sci-fi elements are fine as long as the main category is mystery. However, I am personally not a fan of demons or witchcraft, and might not accept a book with demons or witchcraft in a large, positive role. No witch detectives, please.
*I am looking for books with an emphasis on fast pacing. This means that something significant or exciting should happen within the first two chapters, and the momentum of the story continues to build from that point until it reaches an exciting conclusion. (If your protagonist spends the first two hundred pages baking cookies and gossiping with the neighbors, and no crime has even been committed at that point, that’s not what I’m looking for. Yes, I’ve seen books like that and I didn’t finish reading, lol.)
*Only free ebooks of all types are allowed: complete novel, novella, short story, sample/preview, etc.
*Please keep the entries at least somewhat reasonably clean. Some plot-related violence is to be expected in mysteries, but please no naked covers, erotica, graphic sex, glorification of rape, glorification of crimes against children, or anything of an excessively dark or disturbing nature.
*All list sizes are welcome, but please do your best to participate. Anyone with a suspiciously low click rate considering their list size might be excluded from future promos.
*OUTSTANDING clicks might get your book promoted to a top spot.
