Systems fall. Planets die. Darkness dawns on us all. When someone dies on Earth, their struggle should be over. Instead, humans awaken on Afterworld—an ancient realm beyond the stars, ruled by gods from another age. Besieged by an encroaching darkness, these gods call upon the greatest champions our world has ever known. Legendary heroes such as King Arthur, Ragnarr Loðdbrók, Dobrynya Nikitich, and others must stand united against a force that threatens to swallow not only kingdoms, but the light of creation itself. The final battle draws near. To save the Afterworld, they will have to give everything. But in a war against unfathomable horrors that devour souls for pleasure, even that may not be enough.
