17-year-old Robert and his best friend Adam work at The Dome, an old movie theater with a haunted reputation. It is 1978 and the movie business is changing. Robert, though, is more interested in getting the attention of his high school sweetheart. One night Adam stays late at the theater and is never seen again. Time passes. Robert, who is now 57, puts his life savings into restoring the abandoned theater to relive the glory days of his youth, but poltergeist activity brings him and three coworkers together to uncover the terrifying truth behind the haunted movie theater.
