A young boy from Earth and his mother come to imperial space for medical care and finds out his estranged grandfather is now the Emperor of the Galaxy. His grandfather wants an heir and makes him heir apparent. This series surrounds his upbringing, his acquisition of allies and culminates in an alien invasion crisis.
