Michelle Cruise makes her living investigating mysteries for her television show, Secrets of World History. But minutes before going live, she finds a mysterious letter waiting in her dressing room—one that draws her to Queensland and an old bushranger puzzle.

Soon Michelle and Detective Inspector Martin Borg are following a trail of ghostly lights along the Nerang River, an old bushranger legend, and a hand-drawn map that may lead to a treasure lost for generations.
