In a mist-shrouded land wracked by turmoil and unrest, a man with no past and a woman with no future face a greater mystery than anything they could have imagined when they are invited to partake in a secretive gathering – one that is to be held in an abandoned village where no one ever goes, on the borders of a vast and trackless wilderness.
But first they must find a way to get there.
Strange things are stirring once again in this land of malady and madness, in which ancient terrors long thought to be fable and myth are beginning to come awake, and return. Soon everything will change and nothing will remain the same – for who can say what dreadful upheaval may yet be in store for those unfortunate enough to dwell in this fallen realm.
