Brandi and Troy are the last Walkers at school in their old neighborhood, when all the other students ride buses from the new houses. They have each other though, and share wonder over their world and the creatures they meet in a wooded shortcut home.

But things change after they meet an odd woman who seems to live in a chicken coop. Will Brandi have to walk alone?
