The Magmites have been sacrificing their own to the great Nebuchadnezzar, Dragon God of the volcano, for time immemorial. 

But what are they to do when a God tells them no?

Young José the farmer worries his society is tearing itself apart when the crops begin to wither and barbarous neighbours invade. 

To satisfy the evidently displeased God, the Dragon Priest elects to sacrifice his own daughter to the volcano, José's bride-to-be. 

Can José stop him before it is too late?
