Carpenito Amazing conspiracy theory stuff 4 out of 5 stars Imagine a submarine base, in a landlocked state, in an underground cavern in the middle of a lake in the middle of an Indian reservation. Seems too strange, but the author takes some interesting points of real Nevada history to make his Nevada Navy such a secret. Like the cavern is in a island declared a bird refuge in 1913, and later a national preserve in the 1940's and today is off limits to everyone. And author Smith pieces together a history through little known Indian wars, a battle between the US Navy and the French off the coast of Cape Hatteras, through a meeting with Abraham Lincoln. Lol, but it's fun.
