Lani asked herself that question when she discovered a mysterious card in Max’s office. She knew he had a life before her, the one of a dominant, one he had set aside except when they played together, pushing their limits in very interesting sex sessions together. It shouldn’t have been a surprise, but it was her lover’s reaction to her discovery that made her curious.

Shutting down, it took a while for him to admit that this card was from his dark past as a member of the Black Key Society, a personal invitation to one of their events.

Lani saw an opportunity to better understand Max, and maybe to uncover where the wounds that haunted the man she loved came from, and even have the possibility to heal them.

Little did she know that beyond the Society’s doors laid something that threatened to bring her own darkness to light, and may change her relationship and love to Max forever.
