Jeck Fantis, a Narovian feline humanoid came to Earth to find his soul mate, meomee in his language. He wears a disguise in public to hide his feline features, mainly his eyes. He gets a job and makes friends in the small town near the secret alien base. 

Just getting over a painful breakup, Sara Marks reluctantly agrees to attend a country field party with her friend Jennifer. A handsome newcomer asks her to dance. She is literally shocked by the flash of attraction that zaps them both.  By the end of the dance Jeck Fantis is kissing her passionately.
