Marigold Clark is excited to be competing in the pumpkin pie baking contest at the First Annual Oakleaf Manor Fall Festival, but when she runs into competitor Sawyer Adams, their interaction is anything but sweet.

When the festival runs short on space, Marigold and Sawyer are forced to share a tent. To make matters worse, they are partnered together in the team competition and, despite their best efforts, quickly discover that they are opposites. Sawyer favors inventive recipes while Marigold prefers her traditional approach. 

Though they are attracted to each other, Marigold and Sawyer struggle with trusting one other and their skills. Can they learn to work together in time to win the competition? And will they find love in the mix?
