First, there was Ebony. 

A powerful genie tossed aside once it was discovered she wasn't fit for the prophecy she was born for, Ebony has been lost--hiding and forgotten, trying to find the place she belongs. After cheating her way into an upscale prep school, Ebony is content to lie low and live a life of comfort and magic she feels she deserves. She has no intent to get pulled into the schemes of the fledgling ogre (disguised as a popular jock) and the beautiful green-eyed witch he's keeping under his spell. Ebony can't risk getting caught by her mother whose renewed interest in her near-limitless power is obsessive and sinister. All she has to do is blend in among the beaches of Malibu. 

But after Ebony receives a message from the Oracle, she realizes two things. 
1) She's not as hidden as she thought, and, 
2) she finally has a chance to achieve the greatness she was promised at birth. But to take the chance, she'll need the witch's help.

It looks like Ebony's got an ogre to conquer.
