A grieving widow.

A charming small-town square.

And a murder stitched to the past.

Tilly Martin came to Hillcrest to evaluate a struggling needlepoint shop, not investigate a murder.

But when the mayor dies during the Harvest Festival, an old mill fire, a suspicious land deal, and one stubborn little parcel of Texas dirt begin pointing in the same direction.

With a gray tabby named Stitches offering questionable assistance, Tilly has to untangle Hillcrest’s secrets before someone else gets stitched up for good.
