Reviews; Have you ever thought about the Pastoral Epistles: 1 Timothy, 2 Timothy, Titus? You are thinking what? Huh? These are the letters written by Paul. He knows that there are non-believers hunting him for his teaching of the God's Word. He knows his time is near, and he wants Christians everywhere, for all time, to know what he knows, The truth about Jesus Christ, our Savior. Paul pulled no punches. He believed in saying the truth. He knew his past and had no problem admitting his own sins and how the blood had made him clean as well as all believers. He did not mince words, he said it as he saw it. He saw that many of the churches were being influenced by outside sources. He called his beloved disciples, Timothy and Titus, to return to teach the redemptive work of Christ. Paul felt need for proper understanding of the theology and Gospel of Christ, as well as in the selection of church leadership. He felt that there were those in power in the churches that were leading their flocks astray. He asks us to look at our own leaders and to know that there are many false teachers and prophets who preach and teach corrupt doctrines today, but he does not say who these people are.The author provided a clear background and simple wording in each of the chapters. There are 3 chapters and 16 lessons in this study guide. If doing a group study, this would provide 16 Bible Studies over 16 weeks. I highly recommend this devotional., Pamela Anne Reinert, Bookbub, 5 stars A great read and very informative. The advice of Apostle Paul to Timothy about how to lead a good Christian life. A very practical book. This is my honest review, Sharmani Jeyaram, Goodreads & Bookbub, 5 stars I love these books by Dr. Koh! He breaks down each part of the Bible into short pieces so that people can see things in the Bible that they would not have known on their first reading. This book is truly engaging, Rowan E Creech, Bookbub and Goodreads, 5 stars
