This short story was a scene orginally created for Shield of Glass, the last book in the Medusa vs. Life trilogy. While it didn't fit with the context of the rest of the book, it was a fun scene to write. Perseus returns for a final act of heroism--this time in a quest against Poseidon, god of the sea. Meanwhile Medusa watches helplessly and tries to find a way to save Perseus without incurring Poseidon's wrath.
