For some, it’s the most wonderful time of the year. For Calla, this Christmas comes with a bittersweet mix of joy and heartache. While she and Justin are happy in their marriage, they’ve hit many bumps and turns in the road.

Trying not to become overwhelmed by their burdens, Calla does her best to keep busy. Giving fully to her volunteer commitments and helping others is the perfect distraction.

Justin wants nothing more than to make this a good Christmas. Taking time from his busy schedule has never been easy for him. This year it’s different.

In all the trappings of the season, amid the worries that still come, where will they find solace? Will this season of hope help them into a bright future?
