Jeremy Morales isn’t a nice guy.  He’s done time in prison, and he figures it’s only a matter of time before he ends up back inside.  The one thing that’s brought him comfort is the memory of the sweet girl in high school who stole his heart.  Savannah Caldwell was the one bright spot in his otherwise dark life.  So, when he unexpectedly finds her in a dangerous situation, his first urge is to protect her.

Jeremy notices right away Savannah isn’t the same innocent girl she’d been in high school.  She’s been through things that would break anyone’s spirit.  And now, though he’ll do anything for her, he wonders if he can help her at all.  All he knows is that he’d give his life to protect her.  And, he may have to if the man he saved her from once catches up with them.
