1889: The Boomtown
Westley Cranston, journalist and adventurer, is in love with the beautiful Sassy Sookie, a former prostitute at the Red Nag Saloon in Blake’s Folly. But Suzie doesn’t want travel and insecurity. She’s planning to marry Big Jim Bally and stay in a safe harbor. On the rebound, Westley proposes to Hattie Paumier, the piano player at the Mizpah Saloon. Only as he’s leaving town, does he discover that Sookie might be pregnant with his child.
