The year is 1972, and a group of college students embark on a quest to uncover the truth behind a Vietnam veteran's tortured existence. Their investigation takes them deep into the heart of darkness, where the horrors of war have twisted reality into a nightmare. As they uncover the soldier's grim secrets, they find themselves caught in a web of terror. Can they survive the creeping darkness before it consumes their humanity? Written like an iconic slasher that represents raw, visceral horror at its most extreme. It focuses on an antagonist who is the personification of brutality and madness. The Vet is a novella featured in the anthology "Only the Dead." Available now. Fans of Texas Chainsaw Massacre and The Hills have Eyes will love The Vet.
