Finn, 11, hates camping as much as he hates being picked on by his older brother, Matt, who—unlike Finn—seems to do everything right.
When Finn's mom suddenly starts acting like a completely different person, a local legend leads Finn to believe she’s been replaced by an impostor.
Joined by their friend Maya and their quirky cat, Pepper, Finn must convince Matt to help rescue their real mom from the sinister creature known as The Twilight Walker.
With time running out and the impostor hot on their trail, the brothers will need to rely on each other in ways they never imagined.
