Emotions is a collection of monologues and poems written at various times throughout my life. Depending on what was happening to me personally at the time, this was the result. Some of these pieces are complete, while others remain unfinished, exactly as they were written. There is even a possible song included within the collection. At one point I had nearly double the amount of writings gathered together, but I felt these selections were the strongest and most personal. Out of everything included here, my favourite piece is Empty and Hollow. When you read it, you may understand why. I began writing these around 1991 after leaving high school while waiting to hear back about a performing arts course. Writing became a way to express emotions, thoughts, fears, loneliness, relationships, and the world around me at the time. These writings are presented as they were originally written because I believe that preserves the honesty, emotion, and sincerity behind them. Several writings from this collection have also been adapted into music and are available on YouTube and streaming platforms including Spotify and Amazon Music. Anyway, enough from me. I hope that somewhere within these pages, you can relate to at least one of these writings. Read less
