Available in EPUB, MOBI, and PDF formats. Read on your Kindle, phone, tablet, computer and more

Beverly Chase has Christmas baskets to pack and baking to finish—not a murder to solve. Then an adoption search reopens the story of a newborn found at Kettle Creek Community Church twenty-six years ago. Helena Ostrowski knows something about that night. When she’s found dead below the church’s icy rear steps, Beverly isn’t convinced it was an accident. With her Thursday Book Club friends beside her, Beverly follows the clues through Christmas preparations and conflicting accounts of Helena’s final days. Her estranged son has already lied about his movements. But his secrets aren’t the only ones worth examining. As Christmas Eve approaches, the women must discover why Helena’s attempt to tell the truth ended in murder—before the wrong person takes the blame. Advent Secret is Book Two of The Thursday Book Club Mysteries. Enjoy this standalone holiday cozy featuring mature amateur sleuths, enduring friendship, and small-town Ohio charm.
