Some people are fortunate to still have their mothers in their lives. Please don’t take them for granted. All over the world, it is common for grandmothers or extended family to take care of someone else’s child. This is to allow the parent to work to support their children. And, because we are all sinners, let’s face it that not all women make great mothers. That’s where the Bible is a great help. We can learn from the examples and mistakes of the mothers who have gone before us. There are many mothers mentioned in the Bible. But, it is my hope that the ones in this devotional booklet will inspire you to be the best parent that you can be – with God’s help, as it should be.
