With unseen forces working against each other, Marshal Alex Vonn wants to continue the investigation that first brought him to the underground city of Dolina. His plans are thrown into disarray when the vortex field protecting the city shuts down. There is little hope to restart the field, and no hope of evacuating the city. Fires rage on the ground. Deadly ice chunks rain down from above. The air isn’t circulating anymore and the cavern will likely collapse. Add to all this that Alex is becoming increasingly debilitated by an unknown condition. Could there be any more ways to die in one day? Probably.
