Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
How does the Universal Book Links feature work?

Input the details of your book (such as title, pen name, etc.), and StoryOrigin will generates a unique link that redirects readers to various retailers like Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Apple Books, Kobo, Google Play, or Smashwords.

Why use Universal Book Links instead of separate links for each retailer?

Universal Book Links simplify the buying process for readers by offering a single link that accommodates different retailer preferences.

Universal Links are especially important when you're sending readers to Amazon, because they have different storefronts for different countries.

For example, there's amazon.co.uk for the UK, amazon.com.au for Australia, amazon.de for Germany, etc.

Can I customize my Universal Book Links?

Yes, you can host a Universal Book Link (or any other landing page from StoryOrigin) on your own custom domain with the Custom Links / Website Builder feature.

Can I create Universal Links for audiobooks?

Yes, you can also create Universal Audiobook Links.

Can I add my Amazon affiliate tags to my Universal Book Links?

Yes, you add your affiliate tags to your Universal Book Links.

Note: Amazon has different affiliate programs for their different storefronts (amazon.com vs. amazon.co.uk, etc.).

You can add your Amazon affiliate tags for amazon.com, amazon.ca, amazon.co.uk, or amazon.com.au, and StoryOrigin will automatically use the relevant Amazon affiliate tag depending on which storefront the reader is redirected to.

Can I use Universal Book Links for pre-orders or upcoming book releases?

Universal Book Links require at least 1 retailer link added to them.

If your book isn't published yet, you will need to set up a preorder for that book, so there is a retailer page associated with it. Then, you'll be able to create a Universal Book Link for your preorder page.

Testimonials! StoryOrigin, the author tools you need.

Is there a 5 star rating system on this? Because StoryOrigin is at least 6 stars. At least! I've used the other platforms... and none of them approach the flexibility and power of StoryOrigin
